QUOTES 6/3/2019

“We sit naked in our folding chairs. The sunlight courses across the meadow and through the trees and slowly warms us after a sometimes chilly, often clammy night. We enjoy a delicious, almond and apple pate. . . Our nutrition and air-bath complete, we are ready for a hike. . . Morning light makes the world glisten.  The air seems perfect.  We don’t hesitate to immediately doff our coverings as we pass the gate.  We bask in it all, feeling more of a part of this lovely place.  Naturist perfect! . . . We decide to rest and have a snack of grapes, almonds, cashews and chocolates.  This has been pure strolling naturism.” – Jbee, https://thefreerangenaturist.org/2016/09/21/a-week-in-the-white-mountains-part-3/

“People don’t get why we do this [WNBR] . . .They don’t get the purposes of de-sexualization of nudity, or the cycling advocacy for our safety, and how a couple thousand naked cyclists might call attention and make people slow down or maybe even stop.” - Maria Lily, http://www.metro.us/philadelphia/philly-s-naked-bike-ride-looks-to-change-attitudes/zsJphx---UzheMbQAtK5U/

“I was hiking with a friend in the Arizona desert along a dry river-bed when we decided to take a break and have lunch.  Afterwards we decided to lay out on the rocks to sun ourselves.  We hadn't been there long when we heard voices and before we could do anything a group of senior citizens came walking down the trail.  They were surprised to see us but no one seemed upset.  They laughed and giggled and said hello as they passed.” – Dave, https://www.truenudists.com/groups/view.php?action=viewthread&id=132&idt=107802&page=last

“I decided to visit a clothing optional beach quite close to where I lived I waited for a nice warm summer day and drove out to the beach. . . It was an amazing feeling to be sitting there naked and be in relative close company with others who were also naked and not at all concerned about it.  I went for a swim, read my book, and enjoyed my time nude on the beach then it was time to head home.  And I headed back to the car thinking to myself is this what it is supposed to be like?  If so I like it and it is good.” – Kazper, http://www.naktiv.net/blog/1137/my-nudist-and-me/

“Just as taking folate in pregnancy has reduced the incidence of spina bifida, the result of this study suggests that prenatal vitamin D supplements may reduce the incidence of autism.” - Professor John McGrath, http://www.msn.com/en-us/health/medical/new-research-appears-to-point-to-link-between-vitamin-d-and-autism/ar-AAlyye3?li=BBnbfcL&ocid=SL5JDHP

Sunwalkerism

“Have the courage to be naked in nature.” – Kensunwalker

Discussion

I love being naked in nature - freehiking, walking my meditation and nature trail, gardening, watering, and sharing outdoors naked with my wife.  Being outside naked feels spectacular!

Does anyone else feel this way?

“’The clothes make the man’.  Well, take off those clothes and everyone’s equal.  There’s no division anymore and nobody tries to pretend anymore that they’re perfect.   You learn to accept everyone’s flaws but most of all you learn to accept your own.  This is who you are, this is your body and everyone will accept that because they expect everyone else to accept their own imperfections too.” - http://www.nakedwanderings.com/2016/09/19/the-misconceptions-of-naturism/?platform=hootsuite

“There was something changing inside me.  I remember going to work and huddled in the warehouse was a circle of guys.  They were hooting and howling about something.  When I got closer, one of my co-workers was showing a Playboy magazine to the others.  He showed me the picture.  I kinda shrugged my shoulders. . . Normally, a young man my age would be salivating at nude women, but not me.  I had transcended to a different state of consciousness, a more real state. . . my nudity had become part of my life, a way of living, a way of thinking.” – Asian American Nudist, https://aanaturist.wordpress.com/2014/03/19/my-journey-in-naturism-my-journey-within-myself-chapter-two/

“The fact that we like to spend our time naked kind of separated us from the rest of the world. . . Was it a fetish?  A hobby?  A strange twist in our heads?  By visiting nudist clubs, we found out that we weren’t that different at all.  That twist appeared to be a lifestyle shared by many others.  And suddenly… we felt normal again.” - http://www.nakedwanderings.com/2017/04/10/the-social-nudie/?platform=hootsuite

“A while back I did get one officer that talked to me about being naked in the pasture, obviously feeding the horses.  A car had stopped at the gate to 'get a good look' and subsequently reported me.  The officer said that he didn't think I was doing anything wrong, but I should keep a towel handy just to keep the peace with neighbors.” – Safebare, http://freerangenaturism.com/forum/index.php?topic=859.60

“After being unencumbered by clothing for several hours, I couldn’t believe how coarse and constricting my clothes felt when I finally got dressed.  My first day at a naturist resort was a wonderful experience and I plan to return again very soon!” - nomadicnudist, http://centauri4-naturism.tumblr.com/post/89250470826/freedom-from-clothes-at-least-the
