“I live as a naturist because there are no second chances to live my life right.” – Kensunwalker
QUOTES 5/31/2017

“We camp naked no matter where we are.  Currently, we are in our motorhome . . .  I've done a full survey of the area around us, looked at our motorhome from all angles and can say with certainty that we are safe to be naked in our coach with the blinds and curtains open ... strategically. . . We can't be naked outside but with the windows, blinds and curtains open ... it's almost like being naked outside and at a textile campground, no less.  We prefer camping at clubs or resorts only because we can pull in, set up and stay and be naked from the time we check in to the time we get home and NEVER have to wear a thing, inside or outside!  We make due and continue living as we prefer wherever we go!” – D, https://www.truenudists.com/forum/viewthread.php?id=18781&page=1

“I had a mother once express disappointment with me because she said she was teaching her daughters to be modest and I was undermining her.  Modest is defined as observing the proprieties of dress and behavior, but also as placing a moderate estimate on one’s abilities or worth, being neither bold nor self-assertive, tending toward diffidence, and being limited in size, amount, or scope.  So let me understand.  You want to teach your daughter to place a moderate estimate on her ability and worth, to be diffident, neither bold nor self-assertive, and limited in scope?  And you’re upset with me for undermining you?” - https://breastsarehealthy.wordpress.com/2015/10/10/whores-modesty-and-breasts/

“. . . we have so much internet pornography, so much sexualized imagery of the human body in advertisements, in movies, in music videos, in the media – that’s all that people come to learn about the human body … they think that nudity can only possibly be a sexual thing.” - Glen Donnelly, http://hijacked.com.au/whats-the-big-deal-with-nudists

“Nudism is for all, not just adults or the elderly, as there are common misconceptions that nudism is for adults only or that it’s composed mainly of elderly people.  We just need to find ways to attract more young people like me into nudism.  We also should attract more families.  Eventually we’ll have nudism normalized.” – https://randomfactsgeekjga.wordpress.com/2015/08/19/nudism-should-be-the-future/

“Clothing burdens that are alleviated by nudity include financial costs, hours shopping, doing laundry, and time spent wondering what to wear.” - Kensunwalker
QUOTES 5/30/2017

“The point of nudism . . . isn’t to try to avoid paying attention to what we normally wouldn’t see if the person wasn’t naked.  The point is more that. . . people seeing us in our most vulnerable state is not of concern. . . I think that trying to avoid seeing a nude person’s nakedness is misplaced concern . . . nudism is also about acceptance.  I shouldn’t need to feel embarrassed about having a small penis any more than an old person should be embarrassed by their wrinkles or anyone being ashamed of their weight.  It’s not that we try not to see these things-since that really defeats the point of being naked in public settings - it’s that we don’t negatively judge people based on their appearance alone.” – Icebreaker, http://jillianpage.com/2014/03/15/nudismnaturism-selective-observation/#comments

“Nudism is healthy both physically, emotionally and spiritually.  As Proactive Nudists we can make Mankind's future a golden age where everyone is accepted for who they are on the inside and every human being can live naturally without fear, prejudice or persecution.  Tell everyone you're Proud to be a Nudist and begin spreading the good news about Nudism.  Together we can all change the world!” – Creative, https://www.truenudists.com/groups/view.php?action=viewthread&id=2925&idt=20099&page=2

“I always knew I was a nudist.  Even at a very young age, I enjoyed being nude.  I had two other brothers growing up so I found it hard to have any privacy to be nude.  My parents had over 6 acres of land and on a hot sunny day I would go off by myself and strip off all my clothes and lay in the sun.  As I got older and moved out on my own, I started to sleep naked; nothing is more relaxing than that to get a good night's sleep.  On the weekends, if I was not going anywhere I would be naked around the house for the whole day and do whatever.   Six years ago I finally decided to go to my first nude beach located at Playalinda Beach.  It didn't take myself very long to be naked like everyone else.  For the next four years I kept going back once or twice a year.  My only regret is that I didn't go sooner.  This past September I finally ran my first nude 5k race at cypress cove.  I enjoyed so much that I have signed up for two races this year.  Today, whenever I can I am always naked in my home or at a nudist resort being free of clothes and worries; there is nothing like it.” - John V., http://aanr.com/first-time-nudist-experience&page=10

“There is nothing like the nude lifestyle!” - Kensunwalker
QUOTES 5/29/2017

“Being clothes-free allows the body to function as it was designed to do by the Creator.  A naked body can breathe and absorb natural sunlight more efficiently and therefore it is able to regenerate and repair itself more effectively.  When the body is free of clothing it can better regulate its own temperature at normal healthy levels. . . Without clothing the body can move, breathe, stretch and regulate body temperature naturally.  The free flow of air over the body allows the layer of sweat on the skin to evaporate and cool the skin surface.  When the skin is exposed to the elements it is subject to natural exfoliation rather than having a build-up of stale sweat and dead skin cells as happens under clothing.  Naturists feel a sense of freedom and relief as they shed their clothing and their bodies begin to function naturally again.” – Rodo, http://rdsnatnat.blogspot.com/2011/11/naturists-views-about-clothing.html?zx=9a8c7ccb9f179a5f

“Sometimes it’s easiest to define naturism by describing what it’s not.  ‘A lot of people imagine that it’s this amped up sexual environment, like people are having sex in the open or having orgies. . . It’s not like that at all.  There’s a time and place for everything.’” – .” - Zahra Barnes, http://www.self.com/lifestyle/2016/05/what-its-like-to-be-a-naturist/#.VykCVwwNonV.twitter

“What a joy to walk naturally naked through the woods, the fields, the trees with absolutely no attachment to the material world.  You are totally naked and unclothed including your bare feet which connect you to the earths electric energy which rises up into your body.  Feel the life force that is flowing through all the plants and trees that surround you.  They encircle and encompass you with their natural love.  Walk along the seashore totally naked and unclothed with your bare feet connecting with the sand.  Feel its life force as it surges up inside your body.  Feel the breeze and the salt air as they caress and nourish you.  Feel the warmth of the sun as it brings a soft glow of love emanating from your naked body.  Play in the water as a child would laughing, splashing, running, jumping, a big smile on your face, love in your heart and pure joy in your soul.  You're alive!  Fully and truly alive!  ONE WITH THE UNIVERSE!” – Mr. Texas, http://www.naktiv.net/blog/1044/total-joy/

“I’m comfortable with nudity. . . the body is always something to celebrate.  I love summer because the clothes are light.  Because I can walk around scantily clad.  I love the rain, the sun, the wind, even the bicycle’s scratches on my skin!” - realityproject, http://centauri4-naturism.tumblr.com/post/123810429966/realityproject-reality-project-12-ho-32

QUOTES 5/28/2017

“Last evening I took a bag of trash out to my trash bin at the road.  I walked toward the bin I heard a car coming from the south.  I ignored it and kept walking, holding the trash at my side.  I was maybe 75 feet from the trash bin and 100 feet from the road when a red pickup went past. . . I walked on out to my bin and put the trash in. . . when a vehicle rounded the corner to my north, headed south. I closed the trash bin lid and began walking up the driveway toward my house.  As they passed I glanced over my shoulder and saw it was the same pickup again, this time headed south.  I was again about 100 feet from the road.  I kept walking away.  The pickup passed by.  I had gotten maybe another 100 feet when the same pickup pulled up and stopped in front of my driveway to get a better look. . . As I continued walking up my hill the pickup drove off.  I do hope they enjoyed seeing a beautiful older man taking out his trash. . . Whomever they were it gives them an opportunity to encounter and see a human being engaged in ordinary non-confrontational activity.” – Bob Knows, http://www.naktiv.net/blog/1103/public-exposure-at-the-trash-bin/

“Apart from getting vitamin D (from the sun), it gives you a healthy mind.  Usually if you are living a free lifestyle, free of clothes, free of being encumbered, all those things you get caught up with, you accept your body and other people’s bodies as they are.  We’re all human, we’re all flesh and blood, you don’t notice people’s bits and pieces, you don’t notice whether they have big boobs or little boobs or are overweight, none of that matters.  All our bodies have a history to them, we have scars, you’ve had a caesarean or you’ve put on weight or you’ve lost weight, you soon realize that there is every shape and size out there that you can possibly imagine.  Some women have had mastectomies or boob enhancements, but no one pays any attention to that, that’s the great thing about it.” - Cherie Lidbury, http://www.bodyandsoul.com.au/beauty/body/why-i-love-being-nude-the-health-benefits-of-being-a-nudist/news-story/fbbade7601de6fc8c8c09a29725d69ed

“After a crazy week prior, I decided to go out for a hike last Monday. . . I quickly stripped off my lightweight, tan-thru shorts and began the most wonderful afternoon imaginable.  Temps in the mid-80'sF and a light northerly breeze to keep me cool.  Lots of birds and other wildlife.  The only signs of man were footprints in the sand and jet contrails far overhead.  Lots of time for quiet meditation along the way.  I hiked nude . . . from late afternoon into the evening.  I covered a total of 12 miles out and back, returning to the trailhead about an hour before sunset.  I didn't see another soul the entire time.  To be truthful, it wouldn't have bothered me to run into someone along the way.  It is legal to be nude most places in Oregon, especially on BLM land where I was hiking.  The solitude, though really made it special under the circumstances.” – SailBare, https://www.truenudists.com/group/nude-hikers/1/118829/

“Tight, synthetic apparel can cause skin to freak out, resulting in rashes, clogged pores, and irritation, according to dermatologist and RealSelf advisor Dr. Sejal Shah.  And when you perspire, it creates an environment for yeast and fungus to thrive, which, gross.  She recommends sleeping sans skivvies to keep your skin healthy and clear. . . just ditch your PJs for an immediate cooling effect. . . Men and women alike reduce their risks of certain infections and conditions when they go commando, especially at night.  Underwear traps heat and moisture around the groin, potentially leading to jock itch in men and yeast infections in women.  For women who suffer from chronic infections, the health benefits and comfort levels of ditching panties are even higher.  Let those bits breathe once in a while!” – Joni Sweet, https://www.thrillist.com/health/nation/health-benefits-getting-naked-nudity

“Our recent medical scare prompted visits from both our daughter and sister in law.  Now the sister in law knows and has seen us naked in our own home many times.  Not that she approves, she just tolerates I assume.  Anyway, they both arrived within minutes of each other and I was out doing last minute honey do errands.  By the time I arrived home my wife and her sister were talking in the living room and our daughter decided she needed a shower after her trip.  When the shower was finished and she had toweled off she heard my voice and came out to greet me.  As we hugged the sister in law exclaimed, ‘N, you're naked!  How can you let your Dad see you like that?'. To which our daughter answered, ‘Big deal, not like he hasn't seen me like this before.  After all, he did change my diapers!’.  So by evening both the daughter and I were naked, the wife not wearing much more and the SIL in a full length robe because she was cold.  The next day we got the news from ‘our’ doctors that everything was fine and we no longer have to worry.  I think the whole thing made the sister in law upset as she decided to return home early but not after telling the wife she thought we were ‘perverted’.  So we got to spend much needed quality time with our daughter as the daily phone calls don't compare to face to face visits.” – Nudewalker, http://freerangenaturism.com/forum/index.php?topic=623.15;topicseen

QUOTES 5/25/2017

“Sports have always been important to nudists.  For a long-time this has been limited to tennis, volley ball, table tennis, swimming and jeu de boule, but the range of possibilities has increased.  Running became very popular during the last years and many nudist organizations started to organize their own 5k runs. . . If running is not your piece of cake, you could also ride your bike. Naked bike rides have been organized since the late 90’s, but in the beginning of this millennium the World Naked Bike Ride became a huge event . . . this year you’ll have the chance to ride your bike through the city centers of about 50 countries.  Skinny dipping has been a favorite activity for almost all nudists. . . Think about the world record skinny dipping in the UK or The Sidney Skinny which attract hundreds, if not thousands [of] participants the last years.” - http://www.nakedwanderings.com/2017/05/22/nudism-2-0/

“The United States of America is an insane place, where you can legally carry and conceal a gun, but risk imprisonment should anyone see your genitals.  We live in a world where, under the banner of free speech, YouTube permits the hateful Mohammed video which offended and outraged billions of Muslims throughout the world, but Facebook censors a mother breastfeeding; we live in a world where “Mature” video games like Grand Theft Auto entertain children with fantasies of murdering innocents, while a game showing a nipple earns a much stricter ‘Adult’ rating; we live in a world where the Westboro Baptist Church can rally at a gay soldier’s funeral with signs that read ‘God Hates Fags’ as police stand idly by, but should a man or woman show up in nothing but the body we are all born into, they would promptly be arrested for ‘indecency.’” - https://writersdisease.net/naturism/

“My skin is happiest when there is no fabric trying to bunch into its crevices.  Deciding what to wear is a nuisance, and if I'm bloated, everything looks strained.  If I have to pee quickly, it's pleasant not having to unclasp, unbutton, or untangle.  Sex is easiest without clothes.  I love being naked. . . Gardening May 2017

The weather the first weekend of May, 2017, was poor for World Naked Gardening Day, and besides Amy and I were busy preparing for a house on our land (finally), however, I worked mostly naked on the trails (trimming and installing signs) at least a little most days in May.  I also trenched a water line from the garden to our anticipated house.  Soon we’ll have a well so the water will be easy to obtain, rather than carrying it in gallon plastic bottles.  However, May was quickly passing, so after signing the house contract Monday, May 22nd, on Tuesday May 23rd I planted the garden (naked of course), and carried water for the newly planted seeds.  I then walked the Nature and Meditation Trail on our land (this can also be done nude).  All are welcome to visit.  Meditating nude in nature is such a blessing; it’s a ‘great’ way to manifest positive results in life!

“Nudism reduces heightened sexuality.” – Kensunwalker
QUOTES 5/23/2017

“In the first four centuries of the Church many of our Christian forbears found no contradiction whatsoever between nakedness at worship, and holiness.  Rather, they found deep theological significance in nakedness at baptismal rites.  These were not private occasions.  Baptismal candidates found themselves ‘naked in the sight of all, and unashamed,’ as Cyril of Alexandria reminds his flock. . . What was it about baptism that led Christians to consent to being baptized naked 'in the sight of all'?  What did they want to ‘say’ that made nakedness an appropriate vehicle for its expression?  I contend here that their reasons were explicitly and powerfully theological, speaking to us critically of our obsession with the body-perfect, and the connectedness of nakedness, bodiliness, sexuality and sin. . . Cyril of Jerusalem (AD 387-471) writes, 'Immediately, then, upon entering, you removed your tunics.  Having stripped, you were naked. ... Marvelous!  You were naked in the sight of all, and were not ashamed.'  Theodore of Mopsuestia (pre-AD 428) says, 'You draw near to the holy baptism and before all you take off your garments.  As in the beginning when Adam was naked and was in nothing ashamed of himself.....' Tatian (Circa AD 160) remarks how initiates 'stepped naked into the baptismal pool.' . . . Augustine likens baptismal birth to our coming naked into the world.  The setting aside of shame is a constant theme.  Tertullian understood baptism as a dying for Christ, observing that as martyrs die naked, so we are baptized naked. . . in naked baptism, we enact in a symbolic washing from head to foot a foretaste of the restoration of the innocence, shamelessness and joy that is only for those who find themselves in the presence of God and without sin.” – Michael P. “But couldn't all this amazingness happen when you're clothed?  Do you really have to strip to be one with yourself?  For me, yes.  I've done regular yoga before.  I've tried solo meditation.  None of that has liberated me quite as much as this did. . . nudity removes distractions.  I wasn't comparing my outfit . . . My sports bra wasn't digging in . . . I didn't get a wedgie every flow sequence. . . Maybe you're worried about cellulite, or small breasts, or . . . a bloated stomach.  All of that disappears when you're naked.  You're forced to accept your body for what it is and embrace it for its faults and strengths.” – Robyn Smith, http://www.cosmopolitan.com/lifestyle/news/a56818/i-did-naked-yoga-and-ive-never-felt-better-about-myself/

“. . . nudism is about better health, mental and physical, and emotional and spiritual . . . [Being open to naturism]  “. . . led to a rich discussion with my folks.  I had been quite nervous prior to connecting with my family, because I didn’t know how my aunt and brother would react.  They took in the things I shared about my clothes free life as well as my mom’s anecdotes from when we went to Hippie Hollow together last year.  As it turned out, they were very happy that I felt comfortable enough to be myself around them.  They also stated that it made sense, because this is how all humans were born, and that it’s our perversions in society that have created so many issues. . . my mom shared with me that my grandfather used to do paintings of nude people until the church scorned him for it.” – Hontouniheart, https://clothesfreelife.com/2016/06/22/barely-in-the-family/

“Nakedness diffuses the corruption of power.” – Kensunwalker
QUOTES 5/21/2017

“It would not be a stretch to say that public nudity amounts to a kind of existential, or even spiritual, experience for students who engage in it-giving them a feeling of distinction and meaning in the midst of lives that are often noticeably empty of spiritual purpose . . . In this way, naked parties . . . function as proxy religious rituals in an age of moral relativism.  It’s transgression as transcendence.  Many ancient pagan religions incorporated ritualized nudity . . . Ironically, in these sophisticated, modern times, nudity has reemerged as a sacred rite at a university that has largely abandoned its religious past.” – Nathan Harden, http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/19624/

“I was hiking on a trail in Vermont last summer that is also popular with mountain bikers and a group of four was coming towards me.  The first one was way ahead of the others and he laughed said hi and told me that there were two other guys and a woman behind him.  They were all pretty friendly as they went by but then again I was in Vermont and nudity is really accepted by most people up there anyway.” – Jantinc, https://www.truenudists.com/groups/view.php?action=viewthread&id=132&idt=107802&page=last

“When you sleep in clothes, your body heats up and prevents effective use of these hormones.  In other words, sleeping with clothes on makes you grow old faster.” – Joseph Hindy, http://www.lifehack.org/articles/lifestyle/10-benefits-sleeping-naked-you-probably-didnt-know.html

“. . . with the neighbors.  It is far better to NOT hide your naturism from them but to discuss with them at the earliest opportunity.  DO NOT ask for permission - in other words, do not say ‘would it be OK if I sunbathe naked in the garden?’ - rather try something such as ‘if you see me naked in the garden, don't worry I'll only be minding my own business gardening or sunbathing, etc.’  The relationship you have with the neighbors can help to establish your ‘naturist credentials’ and may help support your credibility in any legal hassle.  For example, if the only time you have ever been seen naked in your garden is by the neighbors' children, how do you convince people that it was entirely normal and innocent?  But, if you are a well-known naturist in the area then being seen is sort of expected and just more of the same.” – John, http://www.naturist-corner.net/community/index.php?topic=21088.0;topicseen

“Naturists love waking up with no worry about finding clothes to put on - no tugging, snapping, pulling, or adjusting.  Life is simpler nude.” - Kensunwalker

“Well, it’s true: we do want to change the world.  Just like John Lennon wrote.  We want people to see women’s bodies the same way they see men’s: neutrally, as objects in the world, objects of beauty some of the time, objects of simple utility other times, in either event deserving of respect and fair treatment.  The way we set out to achieve this is by going out in the world and using our bodies in a wide variety of ways, and doing it unclothed to the same extent men have been doing for ages, and hoping that repeated exposure to the sight will cure people of whatever concerns or anxiety or fear or prejudices they might have.” - https://toplesspulp.com/2016/09/13/you-say-you-want-a-revolution/

“People are so terrified of bodies, and fearful that someone, somewhere, may be enjoying their life.  They call it a ‘Free country’ but they own, control, and regulate every part of our lives.” - Bob Knows, http://freerangenaturism.com/forum/index.php?topic=663.375;topicseen

“. . . what I found out . . .  is that I had an entire other layer of shame around my nakedness and body, just waiting to be shed.  To my own surprise, my four days at a nudist resort profoundly changed my life.  I left feeling, with a nearly evangelical surety, that being naked in ‘public’ is something every woman should get to experience at least once in her life” – Rachel Krantz, http://www.bustle.com/articles/161285-i-was-naked-in-front-of-strangers-for-4-days-heres-what-happened?platform=hootsuite

“Obviously, not wearing clothes reduces the expense and bother of acquiring and taking care of clothes – in direct proportion to how often one can be naked.  The burden of selecting, storing, and laundering clothes is lessened – as well as the trouble of having to decide what to wear.  You also don’t have to put up with the discomfort of poorly fitting clothes or irritating fabrics.  Probably even more important is that being naked relieves one of the need to deal with social stereotypes associated with particular clothing styles.  If you don’t wear clothes, you don’t have to worry about what is or isn’t currently ‘stylish’, ‘fashionable’, or ‘popular’.  You get to be yourself, without having to let others control your choices.” -  https://naturistphilosopher.wordpress.com/2016/06/07/is-there-a-human-need-for-being-naked/

“Thousands of bicyclists dared to be bare for the city’s [Philadelphia] annual nude ride promoting positive body image, cycling advocacy and fuel conservation.  About 3,000 people gathered Saturday for the eighth annual Philly Naked Bike Ride through the city’s streets. . . The annual ride featured people sporting underwear, body paint, glitter or nothing at all.  Some riders concerned about being recognized by their parents or co-workers wore masks while others wore just their shoes. . . crowds cheer them on. . . ‘It’s a really open and fun way of destigmatizing nudity,’ said Oren Eisenberg, who was riding nude for the fifth time. . . ‘Positive body image is something we all need a little more of . . . and this is a fun and positive way to bring attention to it.’ [Magda Esposito]” – Dino Hazell, http://globalnews.ca/news/2932796/philadelphia-full-of-naked-cyclists-as-thousands-drop-trow-for-annual-nude-ride/

“Communal bathing is a near-universal trait among our species and has a meaning that extends far beyond personal hygiene.  There are pragmatic reasons to re-invent the practice, to be sure, but its anthropological diversity suggests that there might be a more fundamental need for this ancient and deeply human art.” – Jamie Mackay, https://aeon.co/ideas/why-we-need-to-bring-back-the-art-of-communal-bathing

“When we came upon the women’s swimming pond and its small overlooking meadow, we saw the most breathtaking sight.  There were women of all ages, ethnicities, races, shapes, and sizes lying out.  Everyone was topless and some were even completely naked.  But no one was giggling nervously or slyly checking out other people’s bodies.  I got the sense that this was a form of release for many of the women.  After a few minutes of hesitation and debate, we decided to join in and timidly took off our tops.  My self-consciousness eventually gave way to an appreciation for my own body as well as everyone else’s.  Our bodies simply became part of nature and the background instead of a point of comparison or judgment.  Lying there topless for a few hours was one of the most relaxing and freeing experiences I’d ever had.” – Natalie Brown, https://spoonuniversity.com/lifestyle/how-nude-beaches-can-improve-body-image/

“Driving naked . . . My reasons are freedom, relaxing and I seem to drive safer and more aware of my surroundings.  I have driven nude many, many, many times.  From 15 minutes to the store to the entire state of Florida.  I used to work/ live in another state from my wife, so whenever I would go home, a 4-hour drive, I would do it nude.  Made the drive much more pleasurable and less taxing.  When I drive naked, I will go on main streets during rush hour, daylight, and nude thru toll booths and drive thrus.” – Sportsdude, https://www.truenudists.com/groups/view.php?action=viewthread&id=8077&idt=77839&page=3

“One of the oddest sights of all is a teenager doing the towel dance on a French beach where everybody else is totally naked.  We recently spent some time in Portugal with the extended family.  About half of us are naturists and spent the time nude on the beach, the other half are textiles and spent hours, it seemed, doing the towel dance.  Hilarious!” (Video - Undressing in Public - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOexwVxE2OI) – JohnGw, http://www.naturist-corner.net/community/index.php?topic=20950.0;topicseen

“Is skinny dipping normal? - Yes!  Despite our reputation for being prudish about nudity and sexuality, the British can even lay claim to inventing the pastime back in the Georgian period.  The practice was founded in Bath in 1668 by Thomas Guidott, who was interested in the health benefits of bathing in water containing a certain mix of minerals.  He published a book on the subject in 1676, entitle A Discourse of Bathe, and the Hot Waters There . . .” - http://www.somersetlive.co.uk/great-british-skinny-dip-2016-everything-you-need-to-know/story-29675595-detail/story.html

“. . . camping nude is the best way to go.  When you are in nature, why not be as nature intended?  Connect with nature and relax by feeling the wind and sun on skin that's not usually exposed.  As the temperature rises and falls throughout the day, your body works harder to regulate body temperature naturally, without the help of heavy cloth or ‘sweat whisking’ fabrics.  The crisp morning air will wake you right up and keep you energized throughout the day.” - http://www.naturismisthewayforward.com/2016/07/6-best-things-to-do-while-nude.html

“When I was a kid, my father always used to sunbathe nude in our garden at weekends.  In public pools children of all ages were allowed to run around naked all the time.  Even today, I'm comfortable with getting naked in the sauna or gym changing room.  Maybe it's because I'm German. . . Forget sausages and beer, the sign of true German-ness is publicly disrobing with absolutely zero self-consciousness.” – Marcel Krueger, http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/06/travel/naked-germany/index.html

“I fear that many people do not try to reduce the risk of cancer and other skin ailments by exposing their skin to what sunshine is available sufficiently early in the year, in order to gain a protective suntan and natural resistance to sunburn which is needed in the height of summer or on holiday overseas where UV rays are more intense. . . Why is it a requirement to be completely naked?  It is because textile clothing, however small or light, will harbor bacteria that may cause skin infections especially when we perspire.” – http://www.morpethherald.co.uk/news/letters/health-the-benefits-of-daring-to-bare-1-7989186

“Naturism is in its essence a profoundly human and social experience.  Participate with couples and families.  Naturists are literally stripped; they have nothing to hide.  Nudity makes us open, honest and sociable. . . Thanks to the open and frank spirit of our naturist world changed (oh, how our society could learn from these values!), those who were our friends that we present to their friends, who in turn have become our friends.  Going in the pool, a ‘Hello’ was transformed into a little chat about the time that ended up in long conversations.  At the next meeting, these people still remembered our names, and we theirs.  Taken to seek a remedy against the gradual reduction of the real and social friendships are not just names on Facebook.  Naturism is certainly a lifestyle you should consider . . .” - http://osnaturistas.com/en/noticias/o-naturismo-nos-leva-uma-vida-social-mais-real1/

“Actually, clothes freedom (the ability of any person to wear or not wear whatever they want without negative repercussions or consequences) can be a fair indicator of freedom in general within a given society.  From what I have seen in my travels abroad, liberty and self-determination tend to abound in the societies where clothes freedom exists.  In the societies where clothes freedom is denied, authoritarian hierarchy prevails and other personal freedoms are also at risk.” - http://youngnaturistsamerica.com/nudity-colonization-textile-industry/
