“Nudity is everywhere!” – Kensunwalker

Discussion

Everyone is naked a times - sleeping, bathing, sex.  So in truth, nakedness is everywhere.  I just enjoy being a little more open.  I love being out doors naked.

How about you?

“Once I moved to the ‘big city’ to begin my adult career, I looked for nudists and naturists to get to know.  It was easier than I thought that it would be.  I started getting invited to homes of new friends, who held nude social gatherings, often parents bringing their children (which underscores the non-sexual nature of real nudism and naturism), and found beaches, public and private, where I could enjoy myself nude.” – David K., https://thanakedi.wordpress.com/2016/11/29/a-friends-story-about-nudism-in-his-life/

“Danish children don’t grow up paralyzed by the fear of being laughed at . . . While I spent my school career avoiding the showers after PE, in Denmark friends tell me they were made to shower together after every class, with no separate cubicles. . . All the way through kindergarten and grade school you take the showers and that’s just what you do.  You get used to it.” - Polly Phillips. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/wellbeing/mood-and-mind/how-to-love-your-body---------------------------the-danish-way-h/

“Being naked . . . doesn’t expose you at all – it makes you anonymous and equal. . . This is a huge discovery and probably the most important one, as it explains why our body is not sexual by nature, we have sexualized it over time.  Gaining our freedom back to be naked makes us better.” - Abigail Moss, https://nuetheureux.wordpress.com/2016/11/21/my-first-time-at-a-nudist-resort/

“I’m quite proud of it.  Not showing off my bits.  I’m proud of that fact that I got out of my comfort zone. . . My attitude towards nudity hasn’t changed because of this but it has made me think about what my attitude is. . . I’m comfortable with my body and what nudity is. . . If you’re not sure how you feel about nudity, get nude.” - Oscar, https://www.theguardian.com/nude-art-from-the-tate-collection/2016/nov/22/recreating-the-kiss-going-nude-in-the-name-of-art

“I get comfortable almost as I'm walking through our gate after work unless it's chilly out.  I'm nude most of the time in the house.  If I'm chilly, I find that if I put on slippers (dearfoams), I am warmer.  If worse comes to worse, I put a robe over my shoulders. . . Today my husband asked if he could take a look in my car to find something that he's misplaced.  I just handed him the keys.  I can usually get away with going out to where I park the car as there is much foliage.” – Cheri

Freehiking in June 2019

This week Naturists of Northern Arizona (NNAZ) freehiked the Mingus Mountain Trail.  Two members cleaned up much of the trail the Wednesday before the group hike.  Then on Monday the 10th eight members gathered for the actual hike.

It was difficult meeting up with everyone at first because some were new and didn't know where the trail started.  However, we eventually met and enjoyed a naked walk together.  Even with a shady trail, the day was a little hot.  Still, enjoying nature naked with friends is always wonderful.  Hopefully others will join us next month.  Let us know if you are interested.

“Naturists are typically friendly, cheerful, and eager to share how much they relished living free.” – Kensunwalker

Discussion

Friendliness is a hallmark of naturism.  If you're a loner, being naked is incomplete and simply wrong headed.  Sure, nakedness alone can be a spiritual experience, and a great way to start, but one is not a complete naturist until he or she is nakedness with others.

I cherish my naked friends!  How about you?

I so enjoy being with others who share my compassion for nakedness, and so enjoy naked activities.  I started my naked journey with freehiking.  I really like nude karaoke.  Naked games of all types are fun.  Just talking with others in a pool is nice.  What naked activities do you most enjoy?

“A person’s ‘intention’ is most important to being a naturist.  Practicing of naturism naturally normalizes the body, so promiscuity and related sexual agendas are reduced, unless a person’s ‘intention’ is sexual in nature – their biggest agenda item.  Clothing is used to broadcast that intention.  Clothing is not only for protection but also for drawing attention to certain body parts.  While not a conclusive guide, and perhaps too judgmental, nudists tend to like being nude in most circumstances, whereas wearing clothing, particularly sexually-oriented clothing, indicates intensions that are not naturist.  Of course naturists enjoy sex with committed partners, but sexuality is not the main focus.  Rather, naturism is counter-sexual because it normalizes the body.” - Kenfreehiker

“Celebrate the body you have.” – Kensunwalker

Discussion

Appreciation is essential to improvement!  Why would you expect something better if you can't appreciate what you already have first?

So, from a naturist perspective, one must first be willing to share the body they wear and love it for all the beauty it has before trying to make it different.

What do you think?
