“If you're nervous about trying naturism just be naked whenever you can in your own home with your partner. It's as easy as that. . . This practice is
what led to my wife learning and practicing nudism. If not for this step, we wouldn't be members
of our local nudist resort.” - https://twitter.com/WpgNudist/status/796757320168566784

“One of the very best aspects of naturism is that it
tends to cure people, at least those who want to be cured, from negative sexual
obsessions surrounding voyeurism, exhibitionism, swinging, and pornism. Even obsessed textiles who try naturism can
be cured. Using nudity
as a cure for sexual obsession may seem counterintuitive, but I know this
to be true from experience.” – Kenfreehiker
“In a Paris art gallery in 1960, three naked women
covered themselves in blue paint and made impressions of their bodies on paper
as an orchestra played and guests wearing formal dress looked on. It has come to be seen as one of the landmark
events in the history of performance art.
The evening was conducted by French artist Yves Klein, who . . . used
young women - dubbed ‘living paintbrushes’ - as his instruments.” - http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-37632356
[Riding in Portland’s naked bike ride] “. . . I passed
an older man with a big beard standing on the sidewalk. He was gazing down Burnside in awe at the sea
of happy nakedness coming his way and I heard him very calmly remarking to
himself, ‘Marvelous’.” – Vanessa
“We sail naked all the time, and I love it! We usually wait until we are a couple of
miles off shore and/or are in less traffic.
I never had any problems with authorities. . . it does seem to me that
it is more accepting for people to be nude while boating. I know people that wouldn't normally want to
be nude in front of others, but are willing to go bare while on the boat.” –

“You know you were right about people not noticing
another person in another car. Most
times it’s a glance and then back to driving.
I've been driving for a few years now with nothing on - going to and
from work. It is the most aware time I have
in my hectic day. I keep something to
cover up, but I do things to make it so that happens less often - always find
roads less used - two lanes are preferable.
If you need to go on a wider road, stay in the outside lane. Always wear a seatbelt. Maintain your speed to the speed limit. Be courteous of others. When you’re not making a scene, and drawing
attention to yourself, the law and others leave you alone to go about your
business. I’m lucky in that I have a
truck. I sit up higher than most. It has a fold down middle console so when I
don’t want others seeing in, I put it down.
I’ve driven in big cities, busy cities, on the freeway, etc. As long as I am aware of others, I've had no
problems. I feel that Naturists have a
responsibility to be aware of others.” – Kevin
