QUOTES 12/7/2016

“Full Moon. . . This is actually the best time of the month for a nightly naked hike . . . So I went yesterday to our nature reserve, stripped, took of everything . . . including watch, glasses, shoes, socks, the lot. . . and went off, for a two hours hike. . . there is no better way to experience complete freedom, to experience nature in all its glory, just you the way you are supposed to be, with God and his creation.  You don’t see the animals, but the sounds of so many creatures is all around you.  The rustling of the wind in the trees, a gently cool breeze stroking your skin.  No artificial light but . . . moonlight which gives everything that special, spooky is the wrong word, appearance.  I don’t know how to describe it, but it is fantastic. . . no worry about meeting any one, you can enjoy it completely relaxed.  Dip in the river, lay down in bed of pine leaves.  Sometimes you surprise an animal, an antelope or something, that sees, or smells or hears you before you do, and takes off into the bush.  The hair in your neck stands up for a few seconds, but that is it.” – Habakukrsa

“April 2nd was absolutely gorgeous here in North Vermont - 80 degrees!  I called a friend and since we both had the day off we went to one of our favorite spots near Eden.  We hike naked there frequently.  We occasionally run into others but it's never been an issue.  We hiked for three hours naked, and left all our stuff at one point just to experience complete freedom.  While we were naked with no cover-up, we ran into two women.  They laughed when they saw us as they had been hiking nude also - they had only t-shirts on when we met.  We saw them take their shirts off after they left us.  What a day!  Naked for 3 hours, no bugs, and fantastic views since there are no leaves.  Hope this is the first of many.” - Jimvt

“It’s ‘unhealthy’ for naturists to just laze around a pool or on a beach in the sun to the exclusion of swimming and freehiking and nude gardening and similar healthy activities.  Naturism is not just sunbathing – far from it.” – Ken Freehiker

“The end of October (2014) I drove from Phoenix to Midland, TX, nude almost the entire way.  Several weeks later I again drove nude most of the way from Midlands, to Las Cruces, and then north to the Denver area.  As a naturist I still feel a responsibility to drive naked.” – Ken Freehiker

“When I was around 17 years old, I started as a home nudist . . . It all began when I went to shower . . . I noticed there was no wash cloth in the shower, so I stepped out . . . and walked down the hall to retrieve a wash cloth from the closet. . . at that moment . . . I turned and saw my mom standing there with a wry . . . 'hah I caught you’ kind of expression. . . So I just said to heck with it . . . and walked back into the bathroom to have my shower. . . It wasn't long after this episode that my mom started walking to and from the shower naked as well as the rest of the house casually (something entirely new), save for a towel wrap around the head.  I had a nice chat with my mother shortly after that, specifically about nudity at home, telling her that since she had already seen me in my full glory and since she had become more care-free, I was going to stop worrying about it, and walk around nude as I wish . . . and to this she had no objection, and has joined me in doing this (she even convinced my father and little sister . . . by telling them that by being nude at home, we could save on washing clothes, and that we are just family, so we really shouldn't worry about it).  Since that fateful day, I have happily been a home nudist primarily, although we have had a few nude family outings, as well as the occasional skinny dip (the most memorable of which was at a hotel pool, in which another family came in, saw us naked and asked if they could join us) . . .“ – Bobbeee
