QUOTES 4/11/2017

“When in the water, swimsuit material tends to absorb the various chemicals and bacteria that exist in pools or the ocean.  But once you’re out of the water, your private parts are cradled inside of your suit, along with all of those gross substances.  This can throw off the balance of healthy bacteria in the vagina or introduce harmful bacteria into the urethra, leading to a number of maladies, including vaginitis and urinary tract infections. . . Since yeast thrives in warm and wet environments, wet bathing suit bottoms can cause yeast infections in women, especially those who suffer from recurring yeast infections. . . This can lead to some pretty uncomfortable symptoms, including burning, soreness and clumpy discharge. . . sitting in a wet swimsuit can cause a very similar infection around your genitals known as ‘jock itch.’ . . .This growth leads to red, itchy rashes that may grow in the shape of a ring.” – Carla Herreria, http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/wet-bathing-suit-bacteria_us_57a3dbe7e4b03ba68011e886

“I feel like a kid again—it’s liberating to be nude. . . I don’t think everyone who comes to this beach needs to be nude, but they should be at least partially nude.  If a non-nude person came with a friend who was nude, I would feel better.” - Ksenia Blinova, http://torontolife.com/city/life/hanlans-point-nude-beach-clothing-optional-streeter/

“We reflect on the trip and OLT [Orient Land Trust,Valley View Hot Springs].  The demographics of the clientele are different from the usual ANRR club.  There is a conservative and older clientele at those mostly and there are concerns that nudism will die off.  At these springs, we found all sorts of people getting along, enjoying themselves.  All ages, young, hip, conservative and Bernie supporters, dred locks and Joe next door, artists, single guys and LGBT. . . There were granddads and dads. . . People wore clothing, and casually stripped to nude at the pools, while others embraced full on naturism.  Nudes interacted with those dressed comfortably, the difference seemingly unnoticed. . . our experience was of being immersed in a more perfect world of a special quality.  Honestly, we know that we’ve gotta go back for more.” – Jbee, https://thefreerangenaturist.org/2016/07/23/orient-land-trust-part-3-a-trip-report/

“. . . a few weeks ago we went to White Thorn Lodge and met friends there to spend the day in the buff with them. . . We had lunch together.  Skinny dipped in the pool.  Took a hike.  Talked.  Laughed.  Enjoyed mojitos.  Talked some more.  We had so much fun we stayed for dinner. . . Our friends made a great day even better.” - https://ourclothingoptionaltrips.wordpress.com/2016/06/28/trading-your-bathing-suit-for-your-birthday-suit-10-more-things-to-do-with-your-spouse-naked-this-summer/
