QUOTES 8/6/2016

“Celebrating Summer Solstice With Nude Hiking and Naked Swimming - Yesterday we went on our first nudie hike of the summer, just a day after the Summer Solstice. . . Perfect weather for our day trip into the Ramapo Mountains (Harriman State Park). . . I was pleasantly surprised to see a group of about 40 people . . . Once we were far enough away from ‘civilization,’ some removed a few or all of their garments to hike nude. . . After maybe 45 minutes of hiking, we reached our first skinny dipping spot. The water was calm and refreshing. . . then it was time to get to our final destination at the other lake. . . Upon reaching our hang-out spot, we saw a couple fishing. . . they seemed cool with the nudie group invasion.  Proper etiquette in these situations is to approach the people who were there first and ask if they’re okay with people skinny dipping.  This is what we did . . .the cold lake and strong breeze coming off the water helped keep us cool.  People sprawled out their towels on the grass or rocks and lounged while periodically taking dips in the lake. So passed a pleasant, relaxing afternoon in nature. . . Around 3:00 pm, most of us packed up and headed back down the mountain. . . Back at the lot we said our goodbyes to both old and new friends.  We climbed back into the van for the ride back to the city and so ended another beautiful day of nude hiking and skinny dipping in southern New York!”– Felicity Jones, http://youngnaturistsamerica.com/nude-hiking-skinny-dipping-southern-new-york/

“. . . there is a particular enjoyment and social bond gained from socializing naked which I don’t think anyone would want to give up.” - https://getnakedgetawesome.wordpress.com/

“If you’re a man, you probably don’t think much about your nipples.  And why should you?  Hardly anybody notices them, or has rules about them, or asks you to cover them up . . . I’m a woman, so mine are obscene, indecent, lewd, banned on Instagram and other social media, and against the law in most places. . . If I took my shirt and bra off right now, Illinois law says it would be an act of public indecency.  It would be considered a lewd exposure of my body done with intent to arouse or to satisfy the sexual desire of another person.  That’s a class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year in jail and a $2,500 fine.  And because it’d be considered a sex offense, I may even have to register as a sex offender.  But you guys?  You go right ahead and take your shirt off, join me on this park bench, walk down the street, post selfies on Instagram, and otherwise flaunt your little pink nips. . . No one will care. . . About 75 years ago, no one could go topless.  Men or women.  But in the 1930s, men won the right to take it off from the waist up. . . It took over half a century for women to get the same rights.  Well, sort of.  In 1992, New York legalized female toplessness—thanks to People v. Ramona Santorelli and Mary Lou Schloss, in which the New York Court of Appeals ruled in favor of two women who exposed their breasts in a Rochester park.  Today, it’s legal for women to take off their shirts in 36 states.  And only three states—Utah, Tennessee, and Indiana— have laws explicitly forbidding female nipple exposure.  But women would still be flouting the law by going shirtless in any of these states.  That’s because an exposed female nipple is still considered lewd pretty much everywhere . . . Think about it the next time you whip off your shirt on a warm day—not because you’re trying to get anybody’s attention, or make the ladies swoon, but just because you want to feel more comfortable.  Remember that you’re enjoying something that your fellow nippled human beings won’t ever get to experience.  At least not without getting handcuffed and taken to jail.” - .” – , http://www.menshealth.com/sex-women/nipple-double-standard

“Do I act any differently when I’m working without clothing?  No, except I am a little bit happier when I’m not wearing clothes.  I’m sure that a lot of people assume that a man working naked on the job would often walk around in an aroused state, or be playing with himself etc., but for someone like myself who is a true nudist, that is absolutely not the case.  Anyone that works naked with the intention of anything sexual at all, is not really a nudist, but is instead an exhibitionist and/or a pervert.  And it’s sad that the general public often assumes that all stories of someone doing something perverted while undressed means all nudists act this way.” – Guy Purcella, http://www.naktiv.net/blog/778/i-039-ve-worked-naked-on-a-number-of-jobs/
Clothes get so very stifling - yuck!” – kenfreehiker

“On Monday . . . [the] New York Post published another round of nude photos of Donald Trump's wife, Melania.  This is the second day in a row . . . The 46-year-old model was 25 when the photos were taken in 1995.  Some of the photos have never been seen while others were published in a French magazine.  Trump did not meet Melania until 1998.  What do you think?” – https://www.conservativeoutfitters.com/blogs/news/new-york-post-publishes-new-nude-photos-of-donald-trumps-wife-melania#disqus_thread
