2017
Year in Review
Our main theme for 2017 was “Get a house on our land”
in Dewey, AZ. This year, we accomplished that!
The year started with a February nude Caribbean cruise. Amy and I visited several islands along with Lee,
Steve, Kitty, Larry, and hundreds of other naked folk. It was relaxing and exciting to sail naked and
enjoy these exotic places. The only
downer of the trip was losing my front bridge of teeth in the ocean at the
Grand Turkes (near the place we swam naked with the sting rays). I guess a passing barracuda is wearing them
now.
We enjoyed freehiking together, and with others on the
Mingus Mountain Freehiking trail and in the desert near Shangri La. Dan helped me clear the Mingus Mountain
Freehiking trail.
Our land has beautiful views! I often worked on the trails – many times
nude. I also nurtured a nude garden (the
tomatoes did great this year). As always,
it felt great to be without clothes in nature.
In July we traveled north to attend a family reunion. On the way we camped near Cedar Breaks national monument.
In August we finally finished the house on our land - what a relief after so long a wait. Because we had to move from our Pre
scott Valley apartment, we lived the first few weeks of August on our land in our travel trailer until the house was completed. But, at last we were able to live on our land and it was great! We had waited so long.

The nature and meditation trail on our land was nearly
complete, so I was able to walk free in nature nearly every day after
throughout the year. It has become a
spiritual retreat for us. We love this!
One day in September, Amy asked if I had heard from
Rick Roller. I explained that it had
been months. An hour later he called
and explained that we needed to recruit Realtors again. He’d discovered a super opportunity with a newer
company – eXp Realty. Later that day, I decided to go for
it and called the local Real Estate school – the last class of the year was
starting that night. So, I’m off on a
new venture, and hope to finish the Real Estate test before year end.
During October and November I constructed a shed on the side of our new house. We needed a shed for the soft water unit we bought anyway, so I simply made it bigger to hold my tools and yard equipment. It turned out great! Not bad for an old guy.
Amy was busy beautifying the inside of the new home. She added a fireplace/mantle, and two sliding barn doors, along with other features.
We spent Thanksgiving Day with family and then with friends celebrating the anniversary of our naked commitment ceremony at the Magic Circle in Quartzite, walking the new trails, eating out at the pizza place, and enjoying a wonderful meal cooked in sun ovens by Lee.

In December, Amy and I traveled to Yuma, stayed at a
RV park for three days, and had our teeth fixed across the border in
Mexico. It’s amazing to look real again
after losing my teeth in the ocean!
Thanks for the wonderful update. It is amazing how much we accomplish during a year.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you at Shangri La this year. We will let you know when we are going to be down there
