“We camp naked no matter where we are. Currently, we are in our motorhome . . . I've done a full survey of the area around
us, looked at our motorhome from all angles and can say with certainty that we
are safe to be naked in our coach with the blinds and curtains open ...
strategically. . . We can't be naked outside but with the windows, blinds and
curtains open ... it's almost like being naked outside and at a textile
campground, no less. We prefer camping
at clubs or resorts only because we can pull in, set up and stay and be naked
from the time we check in to the time we get home and NEVER have to wear a
thing, inside or outside! We make due

“I had a mother once express disappointment with me
because she said she was teaching her daughters to be modest and I was
undermining her. Modest is defined as observing
the proprieties of dress and behavior, but also as placing a moderate estimate
on one’s abilities or worth, being neither bold nor self-assertive, tending
toward diffidence, and being limited in size, amount, or scope. So let me understand. You want to teach your daughter to place a
moderate estimate on her ability and worth, to be diffident, neither bold nor
self-assertive, and limited in scope?
And you’re upset with me for undermining you?” - https://breastsarehealthy.wordpress.com/2015/10/10/whores-modesty-and-breasts/

“The point of nudism . . . isn’t to try to avoid
paying attention to what we normally wouldn’t see if the person wasn’t
naked. The point is more that. . .
people seeing us in our most vulnerable state is not of concern. . . I think
that trying to avoid seeing a nude person’s nakedness is misplaced concern . .
. nudism is also about acceptance. I
shouldn’t need to feel embarrassed about having a small penis any more than an
old person should be embarrassed by their wrinkles or anyone being ashamed of
their weight. It’s not that we try not
to see these things-since that really defeats the point of being naked in
public settings - it’s that we don’t negatively judge people based on their
appearance alone.” – Icebreaker, http://jillianpage.com/2014/03/15/nudismnaturism-selective-observation/#comments

“I always knew I was a nudist. Even at a very young age, I enjoyed being
nude. I had two other brothers growing
up so I found it hard to have any privacy to be nude. My parents had over 6 acres of land and on a
hot sunny day I would go off by myself and strip off all my clothes and lay in
the sun. As I got older and moved out on
my own, I started to sleep naked; nothing is more relaxing than that to get a
good night's sleep. On the weekends, if
I was not going anywhere I would be naked around the house for the whole day
and do whatever. Six years ago I
finally decided to go to my first nude beach located at Playalinda Beach. It didn't take myself very long to be naked
like everyone else. For the next four
years I kept going back once or twice a year.
My only regret is that I didn't go sooner. This past September I finally ran my first
nude 5k race at cypress cove. I enjoyed
so much that I have signed up for two races this year. Today, whenever I can I am always naked in my
home or at a nudist resort being free of clothes and worries; there is nothing
like it.” - John V., http://aanr.com/first-time-nudist-experience&page=10

“Being clothes-free allows the body to function as it
was designed to do by the Creator. A
naked body can breathe and absorb natural sunlight more efficiently and
therefore it is able to regenerate and repair itself more effectively. When the body is free of clothing it can
better regulate its own temperature at normal healthy levels. . . Without
clothing the body can move, breathe, stretch and regulate body temperature
naturally. The free flow of air over the
body allows the layer of sweat on the skin to evaporate and cool the skin
surface. When the skin is exposed to the
elements it is subject to natural exfoliation rather than having a build-up of
stale sweat and dead skin cells as happens under clothing. Naturists feel a sense of freedom and relief
as they shed their clothing and their bodies begin to function naturally
again.” – Rodo, http://rdsnatnat.blogspot.com/2011/11/naturists-views-about-clothing.html?zx=9a8c7ccb9f179a5f

“What a joy to walk naturally naked through the woods,
the fields, the trees with absolutely no attachment to the material world. You are totally naked and unclothed including
your bare feet which connect you to the earths electric energy which rises up

is flowing through all the plants and trees that surround you. They encircle and encompass you with their
natural love. Walk along the seashore
totally naked and unclothed with your bare feet connecting with the sand. Feel its life force as it surges up inside
your body. Feel the breeze and the salt
air as they caress and nourish you. Feel
the warmth of the sun as it brings a soft glow of love emanating from your
naked body. Play in the water as a child

“Last evening I took a bag of trash out to my trash
bin at the road. I walked toward the bin
I heard a car coming from the south. I
ignored it and kept walking, holding the trash at my side. I was maybe 75 feet from the trash bin and
100 feet from the road when a red pickup went past. . . I walked on out to my
bin and put the trash in. . . when a vehicle rounded the corner to my north,
headed south. I closed the trash bin lid and began walking up the driveway
toward my house. As they passed I
glanced over my shoulder and saw it was the same pickup again, this time headed
south. I was again about 100 feet from
the road. I kept walking away. The pickup passed by. I had gotten maybe another 100 feet when the
same pickup pulled up and stopped in front of my driveway to get a better look.
. . As I continued walking up my hill the pickup drove off. I do hope they enjoyed seeing a beautiful

Usually if you are living a free lifestyle, free of clothes, free of being encumbered, all those things you get caught up with, you accept your body and other people’s bodies as they are. We’re all human, we’re all flesh and blood, you don’t notice people’s bits and pieces, you don’t notice whether they have big boobs or little boobs or are overweight, none of that matters. All our bodies have a history to them, we have scars, you’ve had a caesarean or you’ve put on weight or you’ve lost weight, you soon realize that there is every shape and size out there that you can possibly imagine. and began the most wonderful afternoon imaginable. Temps in the mid-80'sF and a light northerly

and other wildlife. The only signs of
man were footprints in the sand and jet contrails far overhead. Lots of time for quiet meditation along the
way. I hiked nude . . . from late
afternoon into the evening. I covered a
total of 12 miles out and back, returning to the trailhead about an hour before
sunset. I didn't see another soul the
entire time. To be truthful, it wouldn't

“Our recent medical scare prompted visits from both
our daughter and sister in law. Now the

minutes of each other and I was out doing last minute honey do errands. By the time I arrived home my wife and her
sister were talking in the living room and our daughter decided she needed a
shower after her trip. When the shower
was finished and she had toweled off she heard my voice and came out to greet
me. As we hugged the sister in law exclaimed,
‘N, you're naked! How can you let your Dad
see you like that?'. To which our daughter answered, ‘Big deal, not like he
hasn't seen me like this before. After
all, he did change my diapers!’. So by
evening both the daughter and I were naked, the wife not wearing much more and
the SIL in a full length robe because she was cold. The next day we got the news from ‘our’
doctors that everything was fine and we no longer have to worry. I think the whole thing made the sister in

Gardening
May 2017
The weather the first weekend of May, 2017, was poor
for World Naked Gardening Day, and besides Amy and I were busy preparing for a
house on our land (finally), however, I worked mostly naked on the trails (trimming
and installing signs) at least a little most days in May. I also trenched a water line from the garden
to our anticipated house. Soon we’ll
have a well so the water will be easy to obtain, rather than carrying it in
gallon plastic bottles. However, May was
quickly passing, so after signing the house contract Monday, May 22nd,
on Tuesday May 23rd I planted the garden (naked of course), and
carried water for the newly planted seeds.
I then walked the Nature and Meditation Trail on our land (this can also
be done nude). All are welcome to
visit. Meditating nude in nature is such
a blessing; it’s a ‘great’ way to manifest positive results in life!

“In the first four centuries of the Church many of our
Christian forbears found no contradiction whatsoever between nakedness at
worship, and holiness. Rather, they
found deep theological significance in nakedness at baptismal rites. These were not private occasions. Baptismal candidates found themselves ‘naked
in the sight of all, and unashamed,’ as Cyril of Alexandria reminds his flock.
. . What was it about baptism that led Christians to consent to being baptized
naked 'in the sight of all'? What did
they want to ‘say’ that made nakedness an appropriate vehicle for its
expression? I contend here that their
reasons were explicitly and powerfully theological, speaking to us critically
of our obsession with the body-perfect, and the connectedness of nakedness,
bodiliness, sexuality and sin. . . Cyril of Jerusalem (AD 387-471) writes,
'Immediately, then, upon entering, you removed your tunics. Having stripped, you were naked. ...
Marvelous! You were naked in the sight
of all, and were not ashamed.' Theodore
of Mopsuestia (pre-AD 428) says, 'You draw near to the holy baptism and before
all you take off your garments. As in
the beginning when Adam was naked and was in nothing ashamed of himself.....'
Tatian (Circa AD 160) remarks how initiates 'stepped naked into the baptismal
pool.' . . . Augustine likens baptismal birth to our coming naked into the
world. The setting aside of shame is a
constant theme. Tertullian understood
baptism as a dying for Christ, observing that as martyrs die naked, so we are
baptized naked. . . in naked baptism, we enact in a symbolic washing from head
to foot a foretaste of the restoration of the innocence, shamelessness and joy
that is only for those who find themselves in the presence of God and without sin.”

of lives that are often noticeably empty of spiritual purpose . . . In this
way, naked parties . . . function as proxy religious rituals in an age of moral
relativism. It’s transgression as
transcendence. Many ancient pagan
religions incorporated ritualized nudity . . . Ironically, in these sophisticated,
modern times, nudity has reemerged as a sacred rite at a university that has
largely abandoned its religious past.” – Nathan Harden, http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/19624/
“I was hiking on a trail in Vermont last summer that
is also popular with mountain bikers and a group of four was coming towards
me. The first one was way ahead of the
others and he laughed said hi and told me that there were two other guys and a
woman behind him. They were all pretty
friendly as they went by but then again I was in Vermont and nudity is really
accepted by most people up there anyway.” – Jantinc, https://www.truenudists.com/groups/view.php?action=viewthread&id=132&idt=107802&page=last

“. . . with the neighbors. It is far better to NOT hide your naturism
from them but to discuss with them at the earliest opportunity. DO NOT ask for permission - in other words,
do not say ‘would it be OK if I sunbathe naked in the garden?’ - rather try
something such as ‘if you see me naked in the garden, don't worry I'll only be
minding my own business gardening or sunbathing, etc.’ The relationship you have with the neighbors
can help to establish your ‘naturist credentials’ and may help support your
credibility in any legal hassle. For
example, if the only time you have ever been seen naked in your garden is by
the neighbors' children, how do you convince people that it was entirely normal
and innocent? But, if you are a
well-known naturist in the area then being seen is sort of expected and just
more of the same.” – John, http://www.naturist-corner.net/community/index.php?topic=21088.0;topicseen

“Well, it’s true: we do want to change the world. Just like John Lennon wrote. We want people to see women’s bodies the same way they see men’s: neutrally, as objects in the world, objects of beauty some of the time, objects of simple utility other times, in either event deserving of respect and fair treatment. The way we set out to achieve this is by going out in the world and using our bodies in a wide variety of ways, and doing it unclothed to the same extent men have been doing for ages, and hoping that repeated exposure to the sight will cure people of whatever concerns or anxiety or fear or prejudices they might have.” - https://toplesspulp.com/2016/09/13/you-say-you-want-a-revolution/

“Thousands of bicyclists dared to be bare for the
city’s [Philadelphia] annual nude ride promoting positive body image, cycling
advocacy and fuel conservation. About
3,000 people gathered Saturday for the eighth annual Philly Naked Bike Ride

underwear, body paint, glitter or nothing at all. Some riders concerned about being recognized
by their parents or co-workers wore masks while others wore just their shoes. .

“Communal bathing is a near-universal trait among our
species and has a meaning that extends far beyond personal hygiene. There are pragmatic reasons to re-invent the
practice, to be sure, but its anthropological diversity suggests that there
might be a more fundamental need for this ancient and deeply human art.” –

“When we came upon the women’s swimming pond and its
small overlooking meadow, we saw the most breathtaking sight. There were women of all ages, ethnicities,
races, shapes, and sizes lying out.
Everyone was topless and some were even completely naked. But no one was giggling nervously or slyly
checking out other people’s bodies. I
got the sense that this was a form of release for many of the women. After a few minutes of hesitation and debate,
we decided to join in and timidly took off our tops. My self-consciousness eventually gave way to
an appreciation for my own body as well as everyone else’s. Our bodies simply became part of nature and
the background instead of a point of comparison or judgment. Lying there topless for a few hours was one
of the most relaxing and freeing experiences I’d ever had.” – Natalie Brown, https://spoonuniversity.com/lifestyle/how-nude-beaches-can-improve-body-image/
“Driving naked . . . My reasons are freedom, relaxing
and I seem to drive safer and more aware of my surroundings. I have driven nude many, many, many
times. From 15 minutes to the store to
the entire state of Florida. I used to
work/ live in another state from my wife, so whenever I would go home, a 4-hour
drive, I would do it nude. Made the
drive much more pleasurable and less taxing.
When I drive naked, I will go on main streets during rush hour,
daylight, and nude thru toll booths and drive thrus.” – Sportsdude, https://www.truenudists.com/groups/view.php?action=viewthread&id=8077&idt=77839&page=3

“Is skinny dipping normal? - Yes! Despite our reputation for being prudish
about nudity and sexuality, the British can even lay claim to inventing the
pastime back in the Georgian period. The
practice was founded in Bath in 1668 by Thomas Guidott, who was interested in
the health benefits of bathing in water containing a certain mix of
minerals. He published a book on the
subject in 1676, entitle A Discourse of Bathe, and the Hot Waters There . . .”

“. . . camping nude is the best way to go. When you are in nature, why not be as nature
intended? Connect with nature and relax
by feeling the wind and sun on skin that's not usually exposed. As the temperature rises and falls throughout
the day, your body works harder to regulate body temperature naturally, without
the help of heavy cloth or ‘sweat whisking’ fabrics. The crisp morning air will wake you right up
and keep you energized throughout the day.” - http://www.naturismisthewayforward.com/2016/07/6-best-things-to-do-while-nude.html

nude in our garden at weekends. In

“I fear that many people do not try to reduce the risk
of cancer and other skin ailments by exposing their skin to what sunshine is
available sufficiently early in the year, in order to gain a protective suntan
and natural resistance to sunburn which is needed in the height of summer or on
holiday overseas where UV rays are more intense. . . Why is it a requirement to
be completely naked? It is because
textile clothing, however small or light, will harbor bacteria that may cause
skin infections especially when we perspire.” – http://www.morpethherald.co.uk/news/letters/health-the-benefits-of-daring-to-bare-1-7989186
“Naturism is in its essence a profoundly human and
social experience. Participate with
couples and families. Naturists are
literally stripped; they have nothing to hide.
Nudity makes us open, honest and sociable. . . Thanks to the open and
frank spirit of our naturist world changed (oh, how our society could learn
from these values!), those who were our friends that we present to their
friends, who in turn have become our friends.
Going in the pool, a ‘Hello’ was transformed into a little chat about
the time that ended up in long conversations.
At the next meeting, these people still remembered our names, and we
theirs. Taken to seek a remedy against
the gradual reduction of the real and social friendships are not just names on
Facebook. Naturism is certainly a
lifestyle you should consider . . .” - http://osnaturistas.com/en/noticias/o-naturismo-nos-leva-uma-vida-social-mais-real1/

“Actually, clothes freedom (the ability of any person
to wear or not wear whatever they want without negative repercussions or
consequences) can be a fair indicator of freedom in general within a given
society. From what I have seen in my

where clothes freedom exists. In the
societies where clothes freedom is denied, authoritarian hierarchy prevails and
other personal freedoms are also at risk.” - http://youngnaturistsamerica.com/nudity-colonization-textile-industry/
