“Naked hike . . . we head off back towards the South
for the last hike of the year. This is a
very inspiring . . . route on the South Downs, with views down to the sea, and
finishing off with a lovely woodland stretch. . . After we reached the summit
of Bignor Hill we headed off into the woods, and with GPS in hand, Bernie took
us on a wide swing out into some wonderful countryside where we stopped for
lunch. Then, heading downhill, we
encountered some wonderful little glades, sweeping fields, pheasants and
interesting old gnarled trees. With
about 2 miles to go, we found ourselves in the dense undergrowth of the
wonderful Houghton Forest, that finally, after some serious bramble hacking,
naked! led us back to our cars. Wow! 7.5
miles and 4 hours later we knew we’d been on a proper naked hike! . . . it’s a
wonderful experience!” – Peter, http://www.meetup.com/Socks-off/events/224743156/
“Sleeping Clothes Free Outside ROCKS! The sun is just so soothing, and the sound of
trees whispering sweet nothings to me was too much to resist. Ok, but I did worry about falling asleep on
one side, and then waking up an hour later with a completely uneven back-front
tan like peanut butter on one side and dark chocolate on the other. My friend seemed to have developed natural
auto-timing, and flipped back and forth on a mysterious internal clock. Me? I
was counting ‘One Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi…’ to stay
even.” - hontounheart, http://clothesfreelife.com/2015/08/06/clothes-free-vacation-pt-4-fun-bits-firsts/
