“I'm retired and have a naturist friendly apt. I spend most of my time nude, sleep nude, do
household chores nude, cook nude. I'm
happy to say I spend days at a time without putting on a stitch. I hate clothes
although sometimes I'm forced to wear them when I go out on errands which
fortunately doesn't happen much. I find
that clothes itch, bind and pinch and anymore I can't wait to get them off! . .
. I live alone for now, and there's no regular job to report for and most of
the work I do now is bench-work at home so nudity is a normal state of affairs
for me. In fact, I am so used to being
nude most of the time, when I do have to go out I find wearing clothes almost
unbearable and can't wait to get home and be myself again.” - Uriel2

“On a warm summer night I drive naked to a river
lookout about 20 mins from where I live.
There's usually no one there so I'm free to walk the fire trail for as
long as I want. . . Of course it's always better with company. I 've taken a
few guys out there who have never walked naked outdoors before and they are
amazed how relaxed they are with the freedom.” – Sunnynude, https://www.truenudists.com/groups/view.php?action=viewthread&id=132&idt=109439&page=2
“I took three of my children to my local public
swimming pool yesterday . . . my children prefer to swim without any swimmers
on and so, my nine-year old hopped in and swam around naked in the swimming
pool. Nobody said anything and nobody
looked upset that my nine-year old was naked in the pool. Last time she hopped in water naked was at a
beach which saw a line of parents strip their own children naked and sent them
back in the water.” - Naked Wombat
“I got to Olive Dell early, determined to do some
overdue weeding in Dellymaze Park. While
nude weeding, I noticed a naked couple freehiking down the Olive Dell Nature
Trail. (It’s always so gratifying to see
someone enjoying my handiwork.) I invited
them to tour Dellymaze, so after meeting Trevor and Barbara from Orange County,
I took them on a nude tour of the Park.” - Kenfreehiker
“We had a great weekend . . . we packed our camping
gear and headed to North Devon and one of our favorite campsites near
Woolacombe. . . set out over several large fields and this weekend it was
pretty quiet, and we found a corner spot as far away from the other campers as
possible. . . we had a great secluded corner, so much so that we were pretty
much able to spend almost all of our time on the campsite naked (other than
when we walked over to the shower and toilet block).” - https://nakedwalker200.wordpress.com/2013/06/

“Have not taken a skinny road trip as such but have
driven nude on a number of occasions.
They did all happen to be at night so the chance of being seen was very
minimal, and they were on routes that I frequently travel that become rather
desolate after dark. The most
comfortable thing for me is the cool air across my body whether from the A/C or
what nature happens to offer that evening.
Add a nude walk back to the car after spending nude time at the beach,
and you can have a pretty nice day.” – Nudeyooper

“Get naked at home.
If you’re comfortable being naked at home, then it’s much easier to be naked
around others and have fun doing it.
Getting comfortable with your own nudity at home is essential to being
comfortable nude out in the world. . . Do an activity around the house naked. Water the plants. Dance.
Read a book. Style your hair
shirtless. It doesn’t matter what the
activity is as long you get comfortable doing it naked. If you are not comfortable going fully naked
just yet, wear lingerie and build up. . . Begin to incorporate nudity into
other daily activities even if you’re out of the house. For instance, try not wearing underwear, or
go braless. . . Start doing things naked that you would normally do with
clothes on. Daily tasks such as making
phone calls naked won’t seem so weird after a while.” - http://m.wikihow.com/Have-Fun-Being-Naked

“Can nudism ever be acceptable to mainstream
society? The nudist movement, whether we
label it nudism or naturism, and whether we want it to or not, is stepping into
a new historical dimension. Modern
nudists are outing themselves. Traditional
nudism is no more, and it and its supporters will remain behind the fences and
wooden walls of the 19th and 20th centuries.
21st century nudists are moving into public spaces. They are not seeking public spaces
especially, but equally, they are not avoiding them either. In a more or less soft contact’, ordinary
people are confronting the current legal system and the courts with naked facts
and nude events. The initially cynical
media are beginning to report these events increasingly more objectively.” –

“I find feminism in naturism. I find equality. I find a place where I am not obligated to
look the way anyone else looks, because it is very obvious, when it comes down
to skin, that we are all different and there’s no use comparing. I find a place where sexualization and sexual
harassment aren’t tolerated. I find a
place where people look out for each other, take care of each other, and
respect each other’s individuality and individual life experiences. These are all things I hadn’t expected to
find in naturism, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised.” – Alexis Beckett, http://www.blog.bareoaks.ca/2014/11/my-experience-in-naturism-as-woman-and.html?m=1
“The bikini has gone from being a sign of women’s

and may therefore need it more to be right with themselves. But people are no more obsessed with naturism
than they are with being clothed – in fact, they are perhaps less obsessed than
‘textiles’ who demand that ‘everyone’ always be clothed, or else. It’s wrong to be ‘obsessed’ with the sexual
aspects of nakedness, and this type of obsessed person is certainly not a
naturist.” – Kenfreehiker

“As an extreme example of the prudery in the USA,
there is the Janet Jackson incident. At
the Super Bowl halftime show on 1st February 2004, her right breast was briefly
seen on TV. The US public and press went
to town and gave an excellent demonstration of their dreadful prudery. . . This
action resulted in fines for companies involved with the broadcast. Even the law was changed, the Federal
Communications Commission is now able to fine up to $500,000 per violation
instead of the original maximum of $27,500.
Europeans reported this and took the opportunity to laugh at America’s
expense. A typical report said ‘How
reassuring to the rest of the world that the U.S. has its priorities
straight. We, the poorly informed old
Europeans, wouldn’t have realized that Jackson’s breast was a more important
issue than Iraq’s missing weapons of mass destruction. But the U.S. media is covering the
breast-baring incident like the story of the century.’ (Frankfurter Allgemeine
Zeitung) – Howard Anderson, http://pub.rfi.net/extreme-prudery-in-the-usa/?utm_source=ReviveOldPost&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost

. The wind/sun/cold air on bare flesh, the feeling of freedom, the feel of the

sensual beings, in the past living by our five senses; the modern world has

“As a father of two daughters I have always encouraged
them, and my wife, not to read the trashy fashion magazines and other
publications that make it their mantra to trash the female image and

on their own two feet and if I can help to mold them into confident women then
I'll consider that a success. There is

way, it's as if they are all saying, 'look at these gorgeous models, you'll
never be as gorgeous as them!' When in
fact most of the models are airbrushed and actually don't look that different
to our own gorgeous women-folk. I think
that us guys have a big part to play in helping our ladies to shed their
society imprinted self-loathing . . . by encouraging them to see themselves as
we see them, as beautiful human beings that should be allowed to appreciate
their own bodies as the natural gorgeous forms that they are without the

“August 24, 2011 I enjoyed a wonderful, nearly perfect
Skinny Road Trip through east Kansas, visiting two naturist parks along the
way. I drove from the Kansas City area where I was working along a pleasant
two-lane highway that follows the old Santa Fe Trail route, passing through the
green hills and fields of this beautiful area – perfect from nude driving. I stopped at Prairie Haven, a smaller 30-acre
resort. I sunbathed, showered, and
soaked in the relaxing pool for about an hour, talking with several friendly
members. I had a very pleasant walk
along their short-wooded nature trail. I
met and talked with a very nice couple about the resort, and enjoyed watching
radio-controlled cars running the resort’s track. I returned to the pool for one last soak. A
group of ladies doing water exercises invited me to join in, but I declined
explaining I just wanted to soak for a few more minutes before heading down the
road. I then drove nude for about a half
hour and stopped at Lake Edun. This
wonderful naturist paradise in Topeka, KS is a must visit for those wanting to
commune with nature the way God intended.
Only one other car was parked in the gravel parking lot. I walked down the well-groomed trail through
the trees to the small shed where I registered, made a donation, and lockered
my clothes. At the first boat docking
area I met and talked with the only other visitor – a local man, fairly new to
naturism. I explained that I was making
a short visit, and headed off around the picturesque lake. Lake Edun’s well-groomed, tree-covered trails
wind all the way around the lake, making for a relaxing and private nude hike. Soon I was skinny driving again towards the
Kansas City area. (Nude driving is such
a refreshing way to travel, especially if one is hot and sweaty from a naked
hike.) I covered up only briefly with a
towel as I passed through two toll booths on the turnpike, but had no
concerns. Too soon I arrived at my destination
in the ‘real’ world where clothing was again required, the end to a perfect
Skinny Road Trip.” – Kenfreehiker

feeling when you are naked in nature rather than hiding indoors. The sun and wind caressing every inch of your
skin is tantalizing and you can feel one with nature.” – Blogger in the Buff
“But naked, we are as close as possible to Nature,
right in it, tending our bit of it, or somebody else's, the way, surely, God
intended. . . So we shouldn't be ashamed. Gardening naked is something anyone
can do . . .” - Iain H.
