Mingus Mountain Group Freehike

Thuesday (11/1/17) Amy and I met Dave and Dan (Members of the NAZ group) for an enjoyable freehike of the newly cleared Mingus Freehiking Trail.  We parked, walked across the road, and followed the scant trail to the tree where we stripped, hung our clothes in a tree branch (one can safely go without clothes on this seldom-used trail), and started our freehike.  The weather was wonderful, cool but not cold, and the forest scenery was fantastic.  It was especially nice freehiking with friends.  We reached the end of the cleared part of the trail, and soon returned to dress (only ¾ mile of the trail is cleared – I’ll do more when I can).  All enjoyed this relaxing nude group hike.  Dan even mentioned it was well worth his long drive from Sedona.
