Thanksgiving Anniversary

After eating Thanksgiving with family (Thursday), we drove down to the Magic Circle in Quartzite to enjoy a ‘naked’ Thanksgiving with Friends.  About lunch time, Lee and I freehiked the path around the circle (about two miles).  Later Lee, Larry, and I freehiked a few roads in the circle.  Five friends gathered for the nude meal that Lee had prepared in sun ovens.  That evening we enjoyed sitting around a propane fire and telling life stories, before Amy and I retired to a naked sleep in our trailer.  Kitty was sick that evening, but survived.  The weather was a little cool, and turning worse, so we decided to cut our visit short on Saturday.  That morning we hooked up with a NAZ member from Globe, AZ; it was his first visit to the Circle, and we were getting ready to leave, so we wished him well during his planned two week stay.  (In the past, it turned out he had met and freehiked with Lee in Northern Utah.)  Amy and I visited the spot we held our naked commitment ceremony the year before (a nude anniversary of sorts). We then drove into Quartzite and ate a clothed pizza lunch at Silly Al’s, and then visited with naked Paul (Sweet Pea), the book dealer down the street.  We arrived home just after 4 pm, the end to a wonderful Thanksgiving.
