QUOTES 9/23/2018

“Every nudist knows that genuine nudists are very nice people. What makes nudist especially nice remains a mystery.” – Jeffrey Connealy, https://twitter.com/Nudist_Jeffrey?t=1&cn=ZmxleGlibGVfcmVjcw%3D%3D&sig=ddc25100d21db519ea9c484244f149cda4963591&al=1&refsrc=email&iid=c2aeb003e48e4ef895ca70cb669e4c69&autoactions=1450735477&uid=396523018&nid=244+123

“Naturism faces the immense challenge of disabling high levels of stigma and skepticism towards the practice, which is propagated by the inability of some to segregate nudity from sex.  I think that people don’t want to risk being misunderstood, even though everything about naturism and nudism is of a non-sexual basis . . .” – Stuart Whelan, http://hijacked.com.au/whats-the-big-deal-with-nudists

“Here in the U.S., our free hiking activities are more inhibited by nudity laws.  But there are places and states where it’s legal, such as Vermont.  You can legally hike naked and skinny dip in the wilderness of Vermont. . . California is another state with gorgeous national parks that permit free hiking, such as Angeles National Forest. . . (Note that public nudity is not legal in all of California, just in certain parks and recreation areas.)  There are a few other places where it’s legal, but trails are limited.  Many nudist resorts and clubs have hiking trails on their property. . . Other than that, you’re left with going out into the woods in places park rangers won’t find you.  . Believe it or not, this is how many people try out and enjoy naturism for the first time.  It’s often free or cheap to go into the woods or into a recreational park, you can connect with nature as nature intended, even go camping or skinny dipping at the same time, and there are no hassles to get in.  For those who don’t live near a club or beach, this can be their only option for going naked in the outdoors.  There are many isolated areas of forest in northern states where it’s unlikely that you’ll see any other human beings at all.  It doesn’t really matter if you’re naked when there’s no one else around to care.  The animals certainly don’t.  Even when you do encounter other people while hiking, you may be surprised to find that many people don’t care that you’re naked.  But it’s still a good idea to bring some sort of cover-up just in case, even if you’re only hiking on nudist resort property.” – http://youngnaturistsamerica.com/naturist-living-show-nude-hiking/

“. . . most people who are naturists have a wish to meet and socialize with others who are the same.  Different people enjoy socializing nude for different reasons, but social activity of some kind has always been a big part of the naturist movement and if you enjoy being nude alone, you will probably enjoy being nude with others just as much.” – https://freewilluk.wordpress.com/2015/03/26/step-by-step-guide/
